Three students in tartan and striped school uniforms walking down a tree-lined street in autumn

A uniform is a year-round job.

Forecasting, fittings, the January queue, mid-year size runs, the stocktake. We design and make the garments, then put our own retail staff on your campus to run the rest of it.

Three ways schools work with us.

Most schools use one of these. Some use all three — the design studio, the shop and the wholesale account run off the same stock and the same account manager.

In-school shop management

We staff and stock the uniform shop on your campus. The school receives sales commission and hands over the rostering, the stocktakes, the fittings and the back-to-school queue. Parents get on-site convenience during term plus 24/7 online ordering, and the shop is run by retail staff who do this for a living. Marketing, signage and promotional material are included.

Custom uniform design and supply

Bespoke design, pattern making and manufacture in our own factories — formal uniforms, tailored blazers, sportswear, bags and hats, through to generic unbranded wear. Our consultation and sampling process lets you try and refine specific garment styles before anything goes into production, so the range is settled before a size run is committed. Twenty-five units gets a style made, and how those 25 split across sizes is yours to set.

Wholesale supply via SalesNet

For schools running their own uniform shop. SalesNet is our wholesale portal: place orders, download invoices, make payments, view your customised apparel line and access sales and marketing resources from one account.

A uniform year, forecast to stocktake.

Very little of this is buying garments. It is a calendar, it repeats, and it is what a school actually hands over. Your account executive confirms this season's dates for your delivery window.

  1. 01

    Forecast together

Your account executive works from what sold last year and what your enrolment is doing, so the order is sized on evidence rather than on a guess.

  2. 02

    Indent and deposit

The indent fixes pricing and secures supply ahead of the season, and the deposit buys fabric and trims early — which is the part that protects the delivery date.

  3. 03

    Production allocation

Your quantities take a slot in the schedule at our own factories, and a SalesNet account is set up so you can follow the order rather than chase it.

  4. 04

    January fit-out

Stock arrives, the shop is merchandised and fitting appointments open before term starts — new starters first, then the growth nobody forecast.

  5. 05

    The back-to-school queue

The busiest fortnight in the school's year is worked by our retail staff, not by the front office and not by a volunteer roster.

  6. 06

    Size runs and stocktake

Through the year the shop keeps the size curve on the shelf for one-off replacements, and at year end we count it and hand the school the numbers.

Why schools hand us the shop.

  1. 01

    Nobody on staff runs it

The uniform shop stops being part of a business manager's role or a parent volunteer's week. The people behind the counter are ours to employ, roster and pay.

  2. 02

    One child, mid-year

A Year 8 who has outgrown a blazer in June is one garment, not a program reorder, and the shop is set up to settle that at the counter instead of folding it into next year's order.

  3. 03

    The same person each year

An account executive who already knows your range, your size curve and when your fittings run, so a review never starts from a blank page.

Reviewing your uniform?

Tell us your enrolment, who runs the shop at the moment, and what has prompted the review — a tender, a garment change, or a back-to-school that went badly. That is enough to start.
